🇭🇰🛫🇨🇦I remember during my time in Hong Kong I would take staycations over the weekend on the islands. Every island has its own charm it was impossible to pick my favorite one. But one thing for sure is I can use a bit of island time when work gets a little crazy. We all need that distance from the concrete jungle to keep us grounded and sane.
Fast forward to soon after I moved to Vancouver, I was introduced to this little slice of playground on the water by the city🏝🎡. Across False Creek from Downtown Vancouver is my favorite hangout here, a zero-waste island called Granville Island. ⚓️What’s its charm? The fact that Granville Island was actually an industrial wasteland transformed into the contemporary art and cultural hub with a rich industrial and maritime heritage makes it so hard not to be on the top of my favourite places to go in Vancouver!
